As a trained Learning Scientist, I am open to collaboration where I can co-designing and co-facilitating empowering learning environments with partners.

These collaborations can take many forms and may look like, but are not limited to:

I have taught college-level leadership and community engagement courses for over 5 years. I am eager for opportunities to continue decolonizing and re-Indigenizing theories and practices of leadership in corporate, non-profit , philanthropic, education, and governmental spaces.

How does your organization, school, company, foundation (etc.) define “engagement” with the people you are serving? Engagement is more than surveys or one-time events. Community building, as compared with engagement, often involves small shifts that enhance trust and reciprocal relationships over time. My ancestral lineage includes healers that date back to pre-contact times. I am on my journey of re-connection to my people’s Indigenous medicines and wellness practices, contemporaneously better known as Curanderismo/a/e/x practices. I am currently in my internship stage and want to engage with people who are willing to open themselves up to my emerging practice.

With over 25 years of experience as a community and youth organizer in Colorado, I am eager to work with partners who want to build a grassroots base of civically engaged members while also interweaving mental, physical, spiritual and communal health and wellness.
